The Design Process
10-Minute Phone Consultation
Our brief phone consultation helps us determine if we’re the right fit to work together. During this call, we’ll discuss your priorities and goals and answer any initial questions. If it feels like a good match, we’ll schedule an in-person consultation to walk your property and explore your vision in detail.
On-Site Consultation
During our on-site consultation, we explore your style, preferences, and priorities. We’ll examine your property, discuss your likes and dislikes, and ask detailed questions to uncover your vision. This thorough process ensures that we have a complete understanding of your goals and site conditions, setting the foundation for a thoughtful, tailored garden design.
Plant Palette
Using the insights gathered during our on-site consultation, we create a thoughtful plant palette tailored to your garden. We’ll present plants for each season and gather your feedback, making any adjustments before moving forward with the scale drawings. This ensures your garden reflects your preferences from the very beginning.
Drawings
We create detailed garden drawings to help you visualize your new landscape. You can choose between scale plan-view drawings or perspective-view illustrations—whichever best helps you see your garden come to life before installation begins.
Installation Options
DIY Installation
Our DIY installation option offers a cost-effective, hands-on way to create your garden. We provide a plant list and materials list, place the plants on installation day, and teach you proper planting techniques. You then complete the remaining work, gaining the skills to maintain a thriving, habitat-rich garden.
Professional Installation
Our professional installation options provide a seamless, fully managed solution. We can coordinate plant sourcing and installation with a trusted partner company, or provide the plant list for your preferred landscaper. Either way, your garden is installed professionally and ready to flourish.
Maintenance Guide & Support
At your request, we can create a custom maintenance guide to help your plants thrive as they settle into their new home. Once your garden is established, we also provide expert guidance and support to ensure long-term success. Whether you prefer a hands-on approach or seasonal check-ins, we offer the knowledge and resources you need to keep your garden healthy and flourishing for years to come.
