Deer Resistant Poolside Oasis

When our client in Boonton reached out, she had a clear vision: breathe new life into a tired backyard, create a lush and colorful environment around the pool, and do it all without turning her garden into a salad bar for deer and groundhogs. The wish list was ambitious—vibrant color, seasonal interest, low maintenance, and as many native plants as possible. With over 200 carefully selected plants, we brought that vision to life. The result is a thriving backyard oasis that’s not only beautiful, but also ecologically beneficial and low-maintenance. This project demonstrates how a thoughtful, plant-driven design can turn a challenging space into a joyful, lasting retreat.
