Denville Pollinator Gardens

Riverside Drive Park Gardens

We thoughtfully designed two garden beds at Denville’s Riverside Drive parks to blend beauty, sustainability, and ecological function for the community to enjoy. Each garden features a rich variety of New Jersey native plants—selected not just for their visual appeal, but for their essential role in supporting local wildlife and improving ecosystem health. This project has been a true collaboration: the plans were created for the Denville Environmental Commission and Green Team, and the Denville Beautification Committee has brought them to life through meticulous planting and continued stewardship. Installed as young plugs, the plants will take time to mature, but our detailed scale drawings illustrate the vision—a lasting, thriving landscape of both ecological and aesthetic value.

Rain Garden (Drainage Bed)

This garden surrounds a drainage bed and will transform it into a thriving rain garden. Not only will it add vibrant plant life, but it will also play a vital role in managing stormwater and reducing flooding. The chosen native plants will soak up excess water and help keep local waterways cleaner, all while adding texture and color to the landscape.

Entrance Garden (Parking Bed)

The second garden is designed to greet visitors from the parking lot with a burst of life and color, encouraging them to explore the park. It’s filled with native species that will attract pollinators like butterflies and bees, creating a welcoming, lively atmosphere.
