Romantic Gardens for Poolside Living

This client envisioned a Hamptons-inspired retreat—a garden that feels romantic, thoughtful, and designed to draw the eye across the property. Poolside, we created a planting scheme in soft pinks, blues, and purples, with grasses adding movement and a breezy elegance to enjoy from the water’s edge. Along the back lawn, we introduced a second curated garden bed, layering textures and blooms to extend color and interest through the seasons. For privacy, rather than defaulting to a wall of Green Giants, we designed a unique screen evocative of Tuscany, pairing evergreens with character and warmth. Two cedar beds were integrated along this backdrop, adding both structure and function. The result is three distinctive yet cohesive garden spaces—romantic, abundant, and full of charm.
